Well, keeping with the patriotic theme, Pantone’s next color is Purple Heart.  I can see a Purple Heart sweater paired with black jeans or, in a bit deeper shade perhaps, an oversized comfy coat (there I go thinking about winter again.  What is it with me today!).

Purple Heart connotes a sense of refinement and sensuality, adding an air of creativity and excitement to the top 10, especially when paired with American Beauty.  Pantone Fashion Color Report Fall 2009

I’m not so sure I, personally, would pair this with American Beauty, but I can see the possibilities.  How would you combine the two?  We’d love to hear your ideas!
